LENA MAE was founded by the Belgian founder and creative director Lena Onkelinx and stands for minimalist pieces with an edge. We specialize in crafting timeless essentials that serve as the building blocks of a capsule wardrobe, effortlessly mixing and matching with other pieces. Designed for the busy city woman—ambitious, independent, and constantly evolving—LENA MAE caters to her lifestyle aspirations. Our versatile pieces effortlessly transition from day to night, serving as essentials for the dynamic LENA MAE lifestyle.

Our capsule launches support the idea of a minimal wardrobe with an edge that is meant to be buildable. LENA MAE aims to prevent overproduction and reduce material wastage by releasing a few items at once in small batches based on our production times, not based on seasons, because we believe that good staples can be worn all year round. For us it's really important to work with the right partners and pick the right fabrics for all our designs. It brought us to four family-owned businesses located in Europe. They have years of experience in making the most qualitative garments and do everything in-house.
